How we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you use FeasiLogix.
This policy covers personal information we collect through the FeasiLogix website, web application and related services (the "Service"). It does not cover third-party sites we link to.
When you sign in (via Google or LinkedIn) or by email link, we collect your name, email address and the authentication identifier provided by the sign-in provider. We do not collect or store your password. Providing this information is optional, but without it (in particular an email address) we cannot provide you with an account or the Service.
We automatically record events and logs about how you use the Service, for example searches, reports generated, feedback submitted, IP address, device/browser information, and timestamps, for security, abuse-prevention, quota enforcement and product improvement. This includes a record of the specific properties and parcels you view (when you open a parcel's details or generate a report); we retain this and show it back to you as your browsing history in your account.
If you contact us, book a consultation, or submit feedback, we collect the information you provide.
If you upload documents or images (for example title PDFs, or files you attach in the AI chat), we store the file and the text we extract from it in your account so we can provide the feature and show it back to you, and we retain it as part of your account until you delete it or your account. We may also use uploaded content in de-identified form (with information identifying you or third parties removed) to test, evaluate and improve our AI models and the Service. We do not sell uploaded content or share it for third-party advertising.
We collect information directly from you, from your sign-in provider when you authenticate, and automatically as you use the Service.
We use personal information to:
We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to run the Service, keep you securely signed in (Clerk), protect sign-up from bots (Cloudflare), take payments (Paddle) and remember your cookie choices. These are always on because the Service can't work without them.
With your consent only, we also use analytics cookies: Google Analytics on our website and PostHog in the web app. We use them to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. They stay off until you opt in, and you can withdraw consent at any time through the website footer's "Cookie settings" link or the app's account menu ("Privacy & cookies"). We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and counts page views in aggregate.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. Full details of each cookie, its provider and duration are in our Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only:
7.1 Our primary application data is stored on infrastructure located in Australia.
7.2 Some service providers listed in clause 6 may store or process limited personal information outside Australia, in particular in the United States (for example Clerk, PostHog, Google, Vercel and Cloudflare), the United Kingdom and European Union (Paddle), and Japan (Resend). Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps, consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8, to ensure those recipients handle it in a way consistent with the APPs, including through contractual protections with those providers.
We protect personal information with technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, restricted database roles and network isolation, access controls, isolation of sensitive data, encrypted backups, and audit logging. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your account (see clause 10).
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you may:
To make a request, or to delete your account, contact us. We may need to verify your identity. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
The Service is intended for professional and adult use and is not directed to children under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
